EPI Named a Top Workplace in Dallas-Fort Worth
Educational Products, Inc. (EPI), the nationwide leader in school supply pack programs and a provider of custom imprinted apparel, was recognized as one of the Top Workplaces Dallas-Fort Worth 2023 by The Dallas Morning News.

For 2023, the Top Workplaces award recognizes 201 companies and organizations in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. Honorees were determined by employee feedback surveys and reported company information. EPI ranked 36th among companies with 150-499 employees.
Founded over 40 years ago by a middle school principal in Texas, EPI is the original school supply pack program and remains the U.S. leader today. Each year, over 1.5 million students start the school year with EPI school supply packs that are customized to their school and grade level. The unique packaging utilizing industrial strength shrink-wrapped trays enables supplies to be delivered safely and efficiently to schools.
“Our focus is building a culture of positivity and continuous learning that leads to growth and empowers our staff to take the next steps in advancing their careers,” said Human Resources Director Mike Hofmeister. “With approximately 150 year-round employees and another 450 seasonal employees, we experience high retention and a large percentage of our summer season team eager to return each year.”
The average time EPI full-time employees have been with the company is 11 years. This high retention rate demonstrates the ongoing commitment and investment by EPI in its team.
